Week 1 Trivia
As thewheaties mentioned on the World Chat, we are going to set up a little trivia game to spice things up. The format will be as follows: 25 questions on a variety of sports-related subjects, each worth a certain amount of points. In total, the 25 questions will be worth approximately 100 points each week (this week it's exactly 100.) Each week, the winner will get a $15 gift card to somewhere like Amazon, second place will get a $10 GC and third place will get a $5 GC. Since we are in the early stages of the contest, we have not yet figured out how to break ties...but it will only really be an issue if there is a tie for one of the podium places. At the end of the season (after 10 weeks of trivia), there will be an overall grand prize winner ($100), determined via the most points scored all year.
